Hibiscus Rosé Slushy

strawberry hibiscus slushy

We used out Strawberry & Hibiscus Rosé infusion to make an adult slushy that is perfect for the summertime!

Infusions are so versatile that we wanted to experiment with slushies. Premade slushies can be very sweet, almost too sweet to drink. Being able to control the sweetness and strength is so easy with our infusions, just add more sparkling water!

No need to add ice, these drinks taken from the freezer, only need to melt enough to drink with a straw.

Strawberry Hibiscus Rosé Slushy

Serves 2

3 oz. infusion

8 oz. rosé

1/2 c. crushed strawberries

Add all to a shaker or pitcher and mix

Add equal amounts to the two slushy bags. (You may want to use a small funnel to make it easier to add to the bag)

Place in the freezer until slushy, the time will depend on the amount of alcohol is in the pouch. The pouches will not freeze completely with the alcohol.

If making a mocktail, only freeze for a few hours. Let the pouches set out after freezing until they are easy to drink with a straw.

Options

1. We infused with vodka and used rosé as the mixer, this creates a stronger drink.

2. To make it less strong, infuse with the rosé and add water or limeade as the mixer.

3. To make a mocktail slushy, infuse with zero proof rose or vodka and mix with water or limeade. You will want to freeze the mocktail slushies for only a few hours since its the alcohol in the slushy that prevents it from freezing completely.
